UEERE0061 – Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems

UEERE0080 – Install photovoltaic power conversion equipment to grid

UEERE0081 – Install photovoltaic systems to power conversion equipment

Entry Requirement

Certificate III in Electrotechnology

or

Those holding an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence’ issued in an Australian State or Territory

Level of Learning and LLN

The Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) level of this training is at ACSF 5 level. Mathematical equations that require an understanding of transposition feature throughout the training.

Method of Delivery

8 days trainer delivery over separate weeks which consists of:

  • Theory: Online webinars (6 Days) and take-home assignments
  • Practical: Onsite instruction with the trainer (2 Days)

The take home assignment will extend approximately 4 weeks beyond the end of delivery.

Please allow 3 months from the course commencement to issuing of certificate. This allows for assignment re-submissions.

Assignments and Marking

This course involves an extensive workload of assignments that require after hours commitment to complete. Typically students need more than one attempt at assignments to meet the expected outcomes. Each attempt will need to be submitted prior to the allotted marking days and will be marked within 4 weeks of that date. Design Tasks must be completed within 12 months of the course completion.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) Requirements

As a prospective student in this training course, it is essential that you have adequate Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills as well as Digital Literacy skills to engage fully with the course materials, participate in learning activities, and complete all required assessments. This includes the ability to:

  • Read and interpret learning materials and assessment instructions.
  • Write responses and communicate effectively in English.
  • Apply basic numeracy skills such as measuring, calculating, and using data.
  • Use digital tools such as learning management systems, and other online or computer-based platforms relevant to the course.

By meeting the prerequisite entry requirements for this course it confirms that you have previously demonstrated the necessary Language, Literacy and Numeracy levels to fully participate in and successfully complete this training.
