This course will be completely funded by Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) for eligible students.

Full Time: 29th of June - 10th of July and 29th of September - 2nd of October
Description
Thinking about becoming an electrician but not sure where to start?
This program gives you the opportunity to experience the industry firsthand before getting started in a long-term apprenticeship.
What you’ll do
- Learn the fundamentals of electrical work (tools, safety and measurements)
- Get hands-on experience with real equipment and practical tasks
- Build essential life and workplace skills, including:
- communication and teamwork
- basic financial skills
- health, fitness and routine
- pathways into employment or apprenticeships
Real Industry Experience
- Spend time on active worksites with electrical companies
- Work alongside tradespeople, apprentices and industry professionals
- Gain a genuine understanding of what the job involves day-to-day
