Thinking about becoming an electrician but not sure where to start?
This program gives you the opportunity to experience the industry firsthand before getting started in a long-term apprenticeship.

What you’ll do

• Learn the fundamentals of electrical work (tools, safety and measurements)
• Get hands-on experience with real equipment and practical tasks
• Build essential life and workplace skills, including:
  • communication and teamwork
  • basic financial skills
  • health, fitness and routine
  • pathways into employment or apprenticeships

Real Industry Experience

• Spend time on active worksites with electrical companies
• Work alongside tradespeople, apprentices and industry professionals
• Gain a genuine understanding of what the job involves day-to-day
