How to get Registered

For people wanting to install telecommunications cabling within the customer boundary.

Typical examples include: terminating cat 6 cabling throughout an office, terminating coaxial cable on a private property. terminating optic fibre on a new development site.

STEP 1

Enrol in the Open Registration course and the appropriate endorsements for the work you will be conducting (Optic Fibre, Structured Cabling etc). Register in only one session and leave a note in the comments field stating the other sessions you want to register for. We’ll do the rest for you.

STEP 2

Contact ACRS HERE to become a registered cabler. You will need your training certificate from us before you can be registered.

NOTE

A cabling registration is mandatory when performing telecommunications cabling work. You must also have endorsements for the ‘type’ of cabling being performed e.g. having the coaxial cabling endorsement if installing coaxial cable.
